At Triumph Fitness we offer a whole range of fitness classes from Kettlebell Training and Pilates, to our Get Fit For Summer programme and Select 6 programme.

Get Fit For Summer

Get Fit for Summer is a 10 week programme developed by Triumph Fitness over the last few years and is designed to completely transform your body:

  • Melt fat!
  • Increase your aerobic and anaerobic fitness levels
  • Build functional strength that will carry over into daily life
  • Increase your balance, endurance and agility
  • Tone and shape every muscle in your body
  • Increase your flexibility
  • Improve confidence and posture
  • Rehabilitate lower back problems
  • Build muscle (If desired)
  • Strengthen tendons, joints and ligaments through out the entire body

We will have to meet 2 times per week for 8 weeks; you will have to train at least once by yourself.

The programme comes with a complete diet and exercise program.

Kettlebell Training Has Become a Revolutionary Form of Exercise

Kettlebell Training

Kettlebells are a one-armed weighted object with the center of gravity away from the handle.

In dumbbells, the force is concentrated at both ends of the handle, allowing for easier balance. Kettlebells force the user to recruit more muscles to stabilize the weight and use more force due to the lack of lever advantage. Ballistic kettlebell exercise is another form of exercises which will help to target usually missed muscle areas. They help to build powerful muscles, lose weight, and get your body fit, without any additional costs for hiring an instructor.

The burning power of kettlebells greatness is particularly due to hitting the core muscle groups very hard on both sides. They won’t let your abs rest and become flabby, so keep this exercise in your daily workout.

The abs and the core are like a motor and a transmission in the body. They are rarely the primary movers in any exercise, and are incapable of generating the amount of force to increase the size of your muscles, such as the quadriceps or gluts. Their function in the center of the body is to maintain a stable core for stronger muscles to generate force as efficiently as possible.

The core must be rigid to transmit the maximum amount of energy to the weight used. With dumbbells and barbells, the weight is not centered at the middle of the bar. The center of gravity is in the center itself. With kettlebells, the center of gravity is far from the handle and kettlebells are usually very dense as well. This is incredibly useful to hit muscles in different ways and light up different areas of the muscles inaccessible by other exercise equipment.

Kettlebells are very useful for shoulder exercises . Performing lateral raises with them as opposed to dumbbells at the gym, force more energy to be expended on keeping the arms straight. With kettlebells, good form must be taken at all times as they can place joints in unnatural positions, which may lead to pain over time. Whenever performing any exercise make sure to use proper form with lower weight, than swinging around heavier weight and your workout is out of control.

Using a Training Kettlebell can be a perfect addition for “spicing up” regular workout routines. Most exercises can be modified to the kettlebell format. Leg exercises work very well for this function because they involve the entire body from top to bottom. This puts extra strain on the core and forces a stronger adaptation to make the muscles stronger and more enduring under pressure.

Lunges and squats are two popular choices. Training kettlebells can be applied to any exercise, however. Legs are just the most common choice as most leg exercises reinforce the role of the core as the transmission of the human body.

Kettlebells can be used as a cardio movement or using a kettlebell conditioning workout to lose stubborn fat, helping to produce those six-pack muscles more prominently.

Those who use Kettlebell training usually are athletes, but the amateur fitness enthusiasts should also be encouraged to use them to provide a more rounded workout. So in your next workout implement a kettlebell training program and you’ll be amazed at the fast you’ll see results.

Pilates

A low-impact form of exercise that develops body awareness, develops flexibility, endurance and strength without building bulk. Individuals use their own body weight as resistance to work through a variety of exercises that sculpt and tone the body improving and changing the body’s postural alignment. Technique and breath pattern is very important in Pilates exercises.

Pilates is an exercise method which encourages the use of the mind to control the muscles, focusing on the core postural muscles which give support to the spine and emphasising muscular balance. Specifically, pilates teaches an awareness of breathing, control of deep muscles in the torso and alignment of the spine.

The Select Four programme is a great new way of getting the results you want from the gym a very affordable rates. Be part of a group of 4 people, all looking to be challenged and motivated!

How does it Work?
Well, sign on to meet 2 times per week in the gym for 6 weeks.
There you will work for 60min with other members of the group following a routine developed by Triumph fitness. We have found that this system allows for a more FUN and PRODUCTIVE workout, where you actually LOOK FORWARD TO TRAINING!

You will use Cardiovascular machines, olympic bars, resistance machines, punchbags and much more to give you a total workout.

You will follow your own programme, specific to your needs, fitness levels and background. The programme will be updated every session to ensure you are challenging yourself.

On sessions 1 and 12 you will have a FITNESS ASSESSMENT so that we can set your programme and track your progress. These 2 sessions are 90min long.

When is it?
Course run throughout the week early mornings, daytime and evenings.

Where?
All sessions are at Bloxham Mill Business centre, Bloxham

How much does it cost?
£180 per person for the 12 sessions.

Can you put a group together?
Get work colleagues, friends or family to create a group of 6 and you can take part on the Select 6 programme at a time that would suit all of you. This would then only If so, it is only £150 per person for the course.
